About The Apollo Theatre

The Apollo theatre is on Shaftesbury Avenue. It was originally well known for shorter runs of plays and musicals, although a few productions have bucked the trend and played for much longer. The theatre seats just under 900 people but looks and feels much larger. It's split over four levels and built in a traditional style, with ornate designs and side boxes on three levels. Although huge in scale, each level feels contained and intimate.

Funny and clever
We loved the television series and this show echoed the same connection between the principle actors. Very cleverly done and lots of funny moments, visual and scriptural.

If you loved Yes Minister, do not miss
It's worth going to renew your acquaintance with Jim Hacker and Sir Humphrey. The wordplay ie emulsified offal tubes, was delightful reminder.

An excellent end to a brilliant series
Can’t recommend this enough. Brilliantly acted and a great reminder of one of the best TV series. As relevant today as it was then. Sorry Prime Minister cleverly closes the book.
