About The Apollo Theatre

The Apollo theatre is on Shaftesbury Avenue. It was originally well known for shorter runs of plays and musicals, although a few productions have bucked the trend and played for much longer. The theatre seats just under 900 people but looks and feels much larger. It's split over four levels and built in a traditional style, with ornate designs and side boxes on three levels. Although huge in scale, each level feels contained and intimate.

Good entertainment for Yes Prime Minister lovers and a thought provoking show for the modern times. Free speech meets social justice in multi cultural Britain.

Not one for me
Sadly not as expected. Some amusing lines but overall it did not keep the attention. My companions fell asleep. We left at the interval.
