About The Apollo Theatre

The Apollo theatre is on Shaftesbury Avenue. It was originally well known for shorter runs of plays and musicals, although a few productions have bucked the trend and played for much longer. The theatre seats just under 900 people but looks and feels much larger. It's split over four levels and built in a traditional style, with ornate designs and side boxes on three levels. Although huge in scale, each level feels contained and intimate.

Academic matinee
Most entertaining play. Well acted. Knowledge of Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister may be beneficial to understanding the connection.
