Fawlty Towers Play The theatre is well organised at getting people in and to the correct area. The play was great, just like to TV series! The actors were very good and very funny. It was well worth a watch.

Big shoes to fill....... EXCELLENT I was wondering how someone could possibly meet the expectations in a show about Fawlty Towers. I have not laughed that hard in a LONG time. EXCELLENT show for the whole cast. Manuel, The Major, and Basil.....OUTSTANDING timing !!!

Great first experience Me and my wife attended a play for the first time and I think we chose the right one. It was well acted, funny and had good pacing. Would love to return for others one day.

A wonderful nod to the original show! Basil and the rest of the characters were fantastic! Had a wonderful time watching the show. Would highly recommend watching the series before the theatre show so that you do not miss any of the jokes and references, the show is based on three main episodes. (The Germans / The hotel inspectors / The deaf lady)

Such a fun way to spend an evening! Just as funny as the original! If you want to spend two hours laughing your pants off, then run see this show immediately! The actors were superb and Cleese picked the perfect 3 sketches for this play! Couldn't recommend it more highly!

Best show I´ve seen in a long time The show was greate, very funny and the acting was the best. It was almost as John Cleese was on the stage. I will higly recomend it.

Chaotic comedy at it’s best Excellent show from start to finish. The acting was spot on . The fun and chaos go hand in hand. Very cleverly done. A definite must see for people who enjoy comedy .

Views Poor - Seats Need To Be Staggered. Show Good The show was good and entertaining, but not the best value for money at £130/seat for a 1 hour 40 minute show. Particularly, when considering how poor and out out of date of the seating layout and the potential of having having your view restricted by other members of the audience, even for very tall people.
Worth putting up with the viewing restrictions if you are a dedicated Fawlty Towers fan, but less so if you are simply watching out of general interest.

Guaranteed great time The show was excellent & really funny with plenty of laugh out loud moments. The acting was brilliant & the 2 hours passed so quickly, I didn't want it to end. I was in the dress circle & as advertised the view was restricted but as I am tall I was able to crane my neck & see all I needed.

Amaaaazing! As a massive fan of the original tv show, fawlty towers the play is just incredible. The actors have got the original casts voices and mannerisms down to a tee! I thoroughly enjoyed it, with so many belly laughs throughout the entire show. Thank you so much!

Torquay lives again It was my partners birthday and the show was the best comedy we have seen for a long either on stage or tv.
Reading through the programme John Cleeses said he would like to write another play,PLEASE JOHN,a suggestion,the episode of the car thrashing!
Once again many thanks for putting on a 5 star with a fab cast,can’t wait for the next one.

The best comedy ever turned into a nostalga play for the theatre The acting was really good,& really did laugh a lot as reminisant of the old shows,at they put it together really well,putting diffrent episodes into 2 parts of a show.

Absolutely phenomenal show! This show has brought Basil Fawlty to life in the West End, the wonderful Adam Jackson-Smith plays Basil so brilliantly you forget it's not John Cleese, he is a wonderful actor as are all the cast! My 3 favourite episodes all rolled into one show ... Hotel Inspectors, Mrs Richards & The Germans, are fabulous. The theatre is very intimate so no matter where you sit you will have a great view & a great time.... go see it before it's too late.

Fantastic Such a beautiful theatre, so pleased I brought tickets for my husband’s birthday present. We laughed and laughed, great acting by all involved. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. Bravo 👏🏼

Brilliant, true to the original! Absolutely brilliant acting, and a well blended plot touching on many of the best moments from the original show. Loved it, a blast of nostalgia. Also love that the major wasn't edited to be PC!

Superb Nostalgia I was in the studio audience for the original taping of the episode Communication Problems. I remembered vividly the scenes in particular with Mrs Richards. The Fawlty Towers stage show was awesome nostalgia, incredibly funny and just as outstanding as the original episode many many years ago. An exceptional performance by the cast.

Must see, whether you remember the TV show or not. The show was excellent. Basil’s character was superbly portrayed. Sounded & moved like John Cleese himself apart from the leg curl on the turn of the silly walk. Mrs Richards needed more detached haughtiness and slightly less venom, perhaps. We had the misfortune to be 1 row in front of a self-styled running commentator, non-stop & clearly audible throughout both acts, predicting lines, and calling out, “No, they’re mixing them,” when TV plots were skilfully merged. Best actor for me was the spoons salesman whose performance paid perfect tribute to the late Bernard Cribbins.

Nostaglic humour...loved the re visiting of great Fawlty Towers comedy in 80/90's. loved the re visiting of great Fawlty Towers comedy in 80/90's. Main characters v reminiscent and good re creations of the originals.The music theme also good.
I have hearing struggles but staff did their best to assist with two hearing device options (my choice of seat at top of theatre was a mistake). Lovely theatre tho.

West End at its best! Theatre at its very best! Every role is performed flawlessly. Adam Jackson Smith, as Basil does the impossible. He fills John Cleese’ shoes with such energy he surpasses all expectation. As do all the cast in their rolls. They really have made the show their own!!!!

Rather dated comedy I would say that this comedy is very much old style which the present day generations wouldn't really understand it. The comedy relating to the Germans should not be included within a comedy play like this as I am sure the present day generations would find offensive and shouldn't be used in present day.

Fawlty Towers We liked it. It is a farce. But not sure how a younger generation would appreciate that type of humour.
It was really well done and extremely slick.Acting was brilliant.
We know the stories and jokes well. I think it would travel really well to theatres round the country.

Best show in town! Fawlty Towers is a wonderful show, a reincarnation of so many memories, scenes and a script that was faithful to the original, all delivered with superb timing, looks and voices that were uncannily like the originals. Full marks to the actors, the casting got them all off to a ‘T’. It was faultless!
One is left wondering how Basil can keep this level of energy up for any length of time! He must be exhausted after one week.

Must see! Just get good seats to enjoy it all. Loved every minute of it. Funny from the start.
My only grievance is we got seats which had some blocked viewing but it's all we could afford. But we stood up as we were up in the gods and we are only short people. Recommendsaving a bit more for better seats to enjoy to the full.
