Jerusalem and Mark Rylance go together like strawberries and cream. The same goes for Mackenzie Crook, who plays Ginger. Jerusalem takes a 'tragic and hilarious' look at a typical English rural community. It's St George's Day, and this is the day the local county fair kicks off. Johnny Byron is a wanted man – the council is keen to serve him an eviction notice. His son would love to go to the fair but things are complicated. Troy Whitworth wants his revenge, and a gang of Johnny's dodgy mates is looking forward to him delivering a stupendous amount of drugs and booze.
