I'm Sorry, Prime Minister

Jim Hacker (played by the revered Griff Rhys Jones) — once the most powerful man in Britain — is now retired and seeking a quiet life at Oxford's Hacker College.

But peace eludes him as he's about to be evicted by a rebellious College Fellowship and student body who aren't impressed by his past glories. When trouble brews, there's only one person he can turn to: the master manipulator himself, Sir Humphrey Appleby (played by the acclaimed Clive Francis). But times have changed, and so has politics.

Can the old team outwit the modern world, or will they finally be outmanoeuvred by it?

From BAFTA Award-winning co-creator of Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister, Jonathan Lynn, comes the long-awaited final chaper of British political satire - and it is as cunning, cutting, and catastrophically funny as ever.

Hilarious show
I always enjoyed the tv series and I thought that this was a fitting update on the main characters. The writing was as sharp and funny as the original shows.

Really entertaining.
Excellent production and great acting and comedy. Having enjoyed the original series of Yes Prime Minister on TV made this show even more funny.

Missed opportunity
The writing was not as sharp as the original TV programme…and storyline weak/out of date. Felt that it was a missed opportunity to make a fitting final chapter to a popular programme. Acting good, theatre lovely.

Great Nostalgia
What could have been a great send off for a fantastic comedy series of the 80s Was for me somewhat disappointing Good First half with lots of laughs But the second half was disappointing to say the least Lacked great comedy and tried I think to make a point that really was lost Unfortunately I would not recommend friends to go and see it

A fitting end
Bit weak but at least an end to the pair

Great show that makes you think!
Good entertainment for Yes Prime Minister lovers and a thought provoking show for the modern times. Free speech meets social justice in multi cultural Britain.

Not one for me
Sadly not as expected. Some amusing lines but overall it did not keep the attention. My companions fell asleep. We left at the interval.

A fitting finale for the Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister series.
To get the most from this show you need to have ideally should have watched the Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister TV series, to understand the relationship. The show takes you into a new world for the two main protagonists and the current world where their old fashioned ways and thoughts bump straight into the current world.
