Are you ready for hilarity? So you love classic farces? This one’s for you. It’s always funny when something goes horribly wrong in one of the Mischief Theatre company’s productions. They’re the masters of wrong-ness. This is the latest comedy from the team who gave us The Play That Goes Wrong. It’s coming your way fresh from a run in the USA, on at the capital’s Apollo Theatre for a six week run from 14th March to 28th April 2024, and the anticipation is already mounting. We could all do with some top class comedy in today’s mad world, and this is exceptionally good stuff.
Mind Mangler had its premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022, then it was developed into a two-act show for a major UK tour in 2023. Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle stars the company’s original members Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer. The Master himself is based on a character created for ‘Magic Goes Wrong’ by Penn Jillette, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields and Teller. If you laughed out loud at The Play That Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong, you’ll have a whale of a time with this fun show.
